Mr. B's 7th Annual Blues and Boogie Piano Celebration will be preceded by:
The Celebration Preview April 2nd at the Firefly Club.
Both venues are located in downtown Ann Arbor. There is a strong likelihood of a performance at the Ann Arbor District library earlier in the week to kick things off.
We are also working on possible programs with the Ann Arbor Public Schools, University of Michigan School of Music, and the Michigan State University Jazz Studies Program. We're very pleased to be presenting Cyrus Chestnut this upcoming year at THE ARK. Bob Seeley and Mr. B will be on board as usual, and our 4th pianist is unknown as of this writing. Showtimes are 7:30 both nights at THE ARK, and will consist of solo sets by each pianist, followed by a series of duets. Showtimes at the Firefly Club will probably be 8:00, but should be confirmed.
